Career Technical Education (CTE) Automotive & Engineering Modernization

The Watsonville High School CTE Automotive & Engineering Modernization reimagines two existing learning environments to better support the school’s expanding Career Technical Education programs.

The design refreshes the automotive shop to improve spatial organization, functionality, and visibility within the workspace, while a nearby classroom is transformed into a dedicated engineering lab that supports exploration, design thinking, and collaborative project work.

The design focuses on creating adaptable, clearly organized spaces that support both instruction and applied learning. Together, these improvements provide students with dynamic environments where they can develop practical skills in automotive technology, engineering, and problem-solving through hands-on experience.
