Radcliff Elementary School
Replacement of Foundation Ventilation System
A foundation ventilation and moisture-control improvement project to support a healthier school environment.
Foundation ventilation at Radcliff Elementary School had become insufficient over time, limiting airflow beneath the building. The project expanded existing vents, added new vents, and installed a moisture barrier to help prevent moisture buildup and reduce the risk of mold.
Work began with an assessment of the crawlspace conditions, followed by strategic vent enlargement and new vent placement to improve circulation throughout the foundation. The buildings were also repainted to refresh their appearance and add weather protection, resulting in improved subfloor performance and a healthier environment for students and staff.
